Generative design workflow: Data-Driven Optimization

At HC56, an oasis of light and greenery emerges within a dense urban fabric, with 56 homes organized around a series of communal courtyards. Through a generative, data-driven workflow, each courtyard was parametrically designed to optimize the amount, distribution, and density of vegetation, balancing planters, greenery, and light penetration to enhance daily living. The resulting proportions create a harmonious relationship between built space and nature, ensuring bright, comfortable, and biophilic communal areas.
